is this drawn without reference, or did you copy it by hand or trace it? because it looks AWESOME.

thats pretty damn spiffy.

I really like how detailed this picture is, like the little dots on the man's head, and the "torn apart" look on the skull's gums.
it would be one awesome guard of a sword, by the way.

anyway, I agree with the guy before me, there should be some kind of a background on it, like a spiraling vortex or more fused head behind it.

nice sketch, maybe you should try making a full drawing once? (like filling up the entire paper with landscape and stuff instead of drawing a single thing in the middle and leaving the rest blank.)
maybe you should redo some of your grey pencil drawings in paint/pastel or really take your time for a drawing, make one in a month, drawing only a little bit each day.

anyway, keep up the good work.
